Club Maqam explores musical encounters and crossroads in the Eastern Mediterranean region. Gathering musicians, dancers and experts inspired by century long Ottoman and Arabic traditions we create spaces for people to meet, learn, and collaborate.Since 2021 we have arranged Club Maqam events in Stockholm (Antikvariat Verklighetsflykt, Kulturhuset Cyklopen, Time Bar) and Göteborg (Folk, Bivac, Cyrano, Kulturhuset Oceanen).
